Craig, Dale and I took ourselves off to the BHP Mt. Whaleback mine tour this morning. Pretty interesting, with all the facts and figures that just seem to huge to be true. It was a bit disappointing not being able to get off the bus more than once, but I guess having a bunch of tourists roaming around your mine site probably isn’t the safest thing. Matt spent the morning working while we were on the tour (he’s a good boy, isn’t he?), then we decided to head out to Opthalmia Dam for the afternoon. We were amazed at the amount of water it holds!
